Crescent City is an elven metropolis. It is located on the southern edge of Elven Home Lake and on the northern edge of the Plains of Despair. It is a huge center of trade for this side of the continent.

Growing & Peaceful (prosperous but blind to the dangers of their system)
Due to prosperity and peace being so long lasting, there is more magic and trade replacing the arts of war. Battles are fought by mage or warrior Champions. Crescent City has an Elven Wizard Champion (and a City Watch).
There is a wise ruling council that consists of:
Councilor for Peace (who runs negotiations with other lands and the City Watch) [currently and elf],
Councilor for Trade Fairness (settling disputes and financial health) [currently a human],
Councilor for Health and Agriculture (weather predicition, crop rotation, storage, city sewers) [currently a VERY old elf],
Councilor for War (small standing army and patrols, navy, anti-monster emplacements) [currently a human],
Councilor for Justice (courts and laws) [elf],
Councilor for Magic (predicting magical events, selecting the Wizard Champion, doing protective ritual magic around the city annually, acting slightly daffy or mysterious) [a VERY yound elf],
Councilor for Order (chairman and tie breaker) [elf].
